Information we collect
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address, and service address.
- Vehicle details: year, make, model, VIN, license plate, and mileage.
- Service records: appointments, estimates, approvals, inspections, repairs, and invoices.
- Messages exchanged by text message or email with your service provider.
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use information
- To schedule and deliver vehicle service and keep service history.
- To send appointment reminders, estimate and inspection notices, invoices, and replies to your questions.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
Text messaging
Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing
We share information only with the shop you do business with and with service providers that help us run RevLane (hosting, email and text delivery, and payment processing), under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Security and retention
Each shop's data is kept separate from every other shop's. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. We keep records for as long as the shop needs them for service history or as required by law.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Use the unsubscribe link or ask your shop to stop marketing emails.
- Contact your shop or us to access, correct, or delete your information.
